Subject: CALL TO INTERIM BOARD
All IFBW members (including Members-at-Large) are encouraged to attend the Interim Board meeting and associated sessions being held in Effingham, IL on Saturday November 17, 2018. Board meetings are open to all members. Voting members of the Board include: State Executive Committee, and Standing Committee Chairs PLEASE BE SURE TO REGISTER BY THE DEADLINE TO ASSURE THAT SUFFICIENT MATERIALS WILL BE AVAILABLE.
STANDING COMMITTEE CHAIRS will be given the opportunity to report on any information updates, special dates/deadlines, projects and status relevant to their area of responsibility. Please pay attention to the agenda for the time allotted to each chair. All Standing Committee Chairs must submit a written report, of the information shared, to the Recording Secretary Kathy Clark-Eller, prior to the close of the Board Meeting. To be included in the packet distributed, please provide a written report by October 15th to Carol Burk, State President, Tina Klein, Administrative Assistant and Alishia Winkler, Database Webmistess.

Our State Federation holds only two formal business meetings, the Training Conference and Interim Board, per year apart from State Convention and your participation is highly encouraged. Therefore, please come prepared. To ensure full participation of our membership, there will be an Open Forum before the Board Meeting is concluded. Any relevant and pertinent issue may be raised during this forum. You are not required to be a voting board member to participate in the Open Forum.

10:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m. 1st Session Board Meeting
12:00 p.m. - 12:45 p.m. Lunch
12:45 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. Presentation by Barbara Kay – Dolly Madison (In honor of Illinois Bi-Centennial)
1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Final Session Board Meeting and Interim Board Wrap-up
Activity Details:
Lunch: Tossed salad with choice of dressings (Ranch and French), Pasta salad with green olives and grape tomatoes, grilled chicken salad on a dinner roll, marinated ham sandwiches on Hawaiian buns (served warm), chips, coffee, iced tea, and dessert.
DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS OCTOBER 30, 2018. IF YOUR REGISTRATION IS RECEIVED AFTER THAT DATE, WE CANNOT GUARANTEE YOU WILL RECEIVE A BOARD PACKET.
